Reverse Shirking behavior always occur in the athletic industry, The Team Production Theorydefine over-investment behavior of sports teams and athletes over-training as reverse shirking. Thebehavior of shirking and reverse shirking are choices of employees in the production process. Thenew institutional economics theory of the firm and labor relations literature has focused on theresearch of shirking, and reverse shirking has long been ignored.In this paper, the reverse shirking behavior research mainly based on new institutionaleconomics team production theory and integrating the human capital investment theory andbehavioral economics theory, the main case analysis method to reflect enterprises in the reverseshirking behavior brightly. The main contents and conclusions in this paper have following aspects:First, the author have the concept of reverse shirking behavior more detailed definition, think thatreverse shirking behavior is a kind of human capital excessive investment and excessive loss; In thesecond place, we research reverse shirking from the economic factors, the supervisory cost,examination cost, subjective reason four aspects, tha author think that the occurrence of reverseshirking behavior is based on small team, and the small team have sufficient information sharingmechanism, consistent and clear goal the mechanism of rewards and punishments; Third, analyzedthe main performance of the reverse shirking behavior and industry characteristics and the trend,as the knowledge intensive industry development, high technology use, the modern enterprisemanagement transformation we think that reverse shirking behavior gradually become the importantproblem in economic life; Fourth, reverse shirking behavior can improve the efficiency of the teamand the innovation ability, but also gives employees bring greater long-term adverse effects, andshould be control and guide the employees’ reverse shirking behavior scientific reasonable.Research of reverse shirking behavior is on one hand can break through the new institutionaleconomics paradigm, they emphasis too much on team member’s shirking, on the other hand theanalysis can extend the research of enterprise labor relations. Actually, the research can let theenterprise to pay attention to human capital management, prevent employees from the shirkingbehavior and guide reverse shirking behavior of employee. The main innovation of this paper is the study of reverse shirking breaks through thetraditional new institutional economics paradigm on enterprise theory analysis, to offer laborrelations research a new perspective, to define and analysis the reverse shirking concept further.The main disadvantages of this paper is that on the enterprise organization form, the research isinsufficient, the analysis of reverse shirking behavior is not in-depth, although the absorption ofbehavioral economics research, but in the analytical process, the author do not fuse with teamproduction theory, generally speaking the analysis in this paper is simple, and do not analysisreverse shirking behavior from the essential.
