The Comparison And Its Revelation Of International Norms Of Monetary And Financial Statistics

International norms of monetary and financial statistics is formed to adapt to the deeplychanges in contemporary international finance and economy and meet the general needs ofraising the quality, transparency and international comparability of statistics. In recent tenyears, the IMF chief international organization developed dozens of international norms onthe yield of monetary and finance, its rapidly formulation and frequently revision arethought-provoking.In recently, majority of scholars who research the international standards of monetaryand financial statistics are limited to study one international norm or comparable with twoamong them. In fact, it is just meaningful for China, which country has poor basic of statisticand queried statistics, to learn how to study and research well the new international norms ofmonetary and financial statistics, and this article is studied systematically to the internationalnorms of monetary and financial statistics on this foundation. The main research contents areas follows:First of all, this paper analysis the background of the international norms of monetaryand financial statistics which formulate by the IMF chief international organization, andexplores five aspects which caused to international norms of monetary and financial statisticsand its development history.Secondly, this paper combined with the development of international norms of monetaryand financial statistics and the research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars, findout the shortcomings of the existing literature, and then divided the main exiting internationalnorms of monetary and financial statistics into three parts: data production of internationalnorms, data released international norms and data quality evaluation of international norms,so as to reflect the data from manufacturing to announcing to assessing which of the link isintegrity, and both relation and difference are studied on the three kinds of international normsrespectively and interaction.Further more, throughout the development history of international norms, this papercarried out five aspects of their trend of development characteristics, so as to know well theinternational norms of monetary and financial statistics.Finally, in view of China in monetary and financial statistics existed some shortage whileobtained some achievements in international connection, it’s high time for us to explore howto enhance China’s statistic skill and promote China’s international connection, the authorputs forward propulsion China statistical internationally accepted five suggestions.
