Research On Recreational Value Evaluation Of The Waterfront Of Inland River In Urban Areas

Based on the analysis of the characteristics and recreational function of the waterfront of inland river in urban areas, this paper try to build the component elements system of the recreational value of the waterfront of inland river in urban areas,then take Baima river in Fuzhou as an example of empirical research,apply CVM design questionnare to investigate the recreationists in the waterfront of Baima river,according to the statistic and analysis on survey results,make a comprehensive assessment on the recreational value of the waterfront of Baima river in combination of qualitative and quantitative way. The main conclusion of this paper are as follows:Firstly,based on the conference literature about urban waterfront and recreational value,analyse and summarize the features and recreational function of the waterfront of inland river in urban areas,and classify its recreational value.On this basis,choose factors from environment, landscape, culture, location and society to build the componant elements system of the recreational value of the waterfront of inland river in urban areas.Secondly,based on the information and statistics obtained from literature,questionare survey and interviews,comprehensively describe every componant element of the recreational value of the waterfront of Baima river,and apply CVM to make an quantitative evalueation. The ultimate result is that the average WTP(willingness to pay)of the recreationists in the waterfront of Baima river is16.075yuan per family per month in the next three years,and the total recreational value of the waterfront of Baimariver is89.9442million yuan if take Gulou and Taijiang district as research whole sample and231.6148million yuan if take Fuzhou as whole sample.Finally,based on research findings,this paper put forward proposal for the enhance of the recreational value of the waterfront of Baima river,and summarise the application of CVM in this study.
