Project Evaluation Of Standard CNG Filling Station In Suyu District In Suqian

With the extending of Suqian city scale, the lines of bus and taxihave increased gradually. However, relatively less stations of compressednatural gas (CNG) couldn’t meet the market consumption need, whichhas resulted adverse social impacts. To meet the needs of CNG, SuqianTransportation Bureau and Suqian PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co., Ltd.reached an agreement to cooperate to construct hydraulic natural gassub-stations.The economic of all CNG filling station constructions was evaluated inthis paper through the related theories of investment projects evaluationin Suyu District in Suqian. Firstly, the project backgrounds including theconstruction background, project significance and advantage wereintroduced. Secondly, the contents of evaluation and common evaluationmethods were explained. Then, based on the analysis of the marketsupply and demand situation for CNG, prospects of the project wereforecast and project plans were proposed and selected. Meanwhile, theinvestment estimation, financial index evaluation and uncertainty analysisof the project were carried out. Finally, after the evaluation on economicand social benefits through project evaluation theories and methods, the following conclusions were obtained. This project was advanced inTechnology and feasible in economy. It was beneficial for the sustainabledevelopment of local economy and it has significant benefits for societyand environment.
