In an environment that the social networks are expanding and the business models of consumer electronics updating with high speed, the role of organizations in the market is experiencing rapid and dramatic changes. New technologies, say, the new communication technology, enable an organization to adopt thoroughly different ways to achieve products innovation, especially in the field of consumer electronics products. The Internet users communities are flourishing and the consumer electronics market requiring highly on innovation adoption is booming, both of which have provided good samples to be studied and observed.This research has investigated the whole process of organizational adoption for users innovation in communities organized and operated by manufacturers of consumer electronics products which includes the collection and analysis of data and the study of the main factors affecting organizations decision to adopt user innovations from the user community on the Internet. Based on the research result, suggestions about innovation manage structure and user innovation adoption process were given.The thesis was divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduced the research background, industry environment and basic research conditions. The Second chapter made a literature review related to current research achievements. The third chapter built up a conceptual model and made related hypothesis. The fourth chapter collected and studied the data from Xiaomi Technology and then worked out some new characteristics shown by the organizational adoption of user innovation. Based on the theoretical research conclusions, suggestions for the organization were also presented in the fifth chapter. In the last chapter the conclusions were reviewed and research prospects were depicted.The innovation of the thesis:firstly, by combining of Open Innovation Theory and TAM model investigates the organizational adoption of user innovation on the Internet user community on the single-organization/multi-user innovation situation. Secondly, the research displayed some new patterns in the organizational innovation adoption process under the new and open innovation environment. Thirdly, the research findings could combine with the organizational innovation management to improve the organization’s innovation capability.
