The Research On Strategic Procurement Management Of SIEMENS Transformers

As to Procurement cost control, by several measures such as strengthening pooling procurement activities, introducing of e-commerce platform, promoting the level of raw materials standardization, and enhancing enforcement of Global value sourcing strategy, etc., to enrich the means of procurement cost control so as to enable it to cope with the current market environment. About Supplier management, with optimization to the original system, it supplements supplier development and supplier elimination system, and expands the scope of the Suppliers Evaluation and Supplier Qualification. The implementation the policy of First Choice Supplier realizes the current system to be an integrated supplier management system in the true sense based on the concept of strategic procurement. During the Purchasing procedure, with the build-up of highly standardized purchasing work flow system and the promote of milestone monitoring system, the occurrence of undue behaviors is theoretically eliminated, and the risk of human intervention to the procurement procedure is minimized so as to ensure that the strategic procurement strategies could be implemented in each purchasing behavior, and subject to effective monitoring.This paper not only stay in the stage of theoretical study but through real procurement practice of strategic purchasing sense, to verify the effectiveness of new procurement management system, discover the defects existed in the new systems, and initially point out the direction for further optimization and improvement.
