The unreasonable logistics network design has become a key factor hindering inthe process of China from a big steel countries to the development of strong steelcountry. The design of advanced science and logistics network system become anurgent problem what iron and steel enterprises in China are facing with.In this paper, based on the analysis of domestic and foreign studies on logisticsnetwork optimization and combined with the actual situation of the river logisticsnetwork of the Maanshan Iron&Steel Company’s external, we concluded that theVRP is still the key factor in the logistics network in the current. This article is basedon the Maanshan Iron&Steel Company’s waterway network as the researchbackground for the problems of its logistics network, which is why this article doesthe following aspects.Firstly, In order to solve the problem of the dual nature of the supply and demandin the first level logistics nodes, established the bidirectional VRP model of the ironand steel enterprises’ external logistics and distribution network which combine withthe present situation and characteristics of the iron and steel enterprises’ logistics. Andthen, according to the characteristics of the model and algorithm research at home andabroad on such issues, I constructed the Immune Genetic Algorithm.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the model, I design and improve theimmune genetic algorithm. We found that the improved immune genetic algorithmcan solve such problems well when we were testing the algorithm.Finally, I improved the Maanshan Iron&Steel Company’s external waterwaylogistics network path overall and Integrate with the return supply path.
