The Research On Evaluation And Promotion Of Comprehensive Ability Of Listed Companies In Hunan Province

As the guidepost of economic status, the development level of the listedcompanies tends to impact the development of the regional economy, and the listedcompanies are becoming the strong impetus of the development of regional economy.Nationally, with continuous development of China’s securities market, the expansionspeed of the listed companies is reflected in assets, quantity, involving industries andso on. With the implementation of the Central China’s Rise strategy and theestablishment of two type society in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, the economy’saccelerating development of Hunan Province is in a critical period and HunanProvince will be one of the most dynamic regions nationally, so it is particularlyimportant to study the listed companies in Hunan Province regionally.So far, there has been no one involved in evaluating the listed companies’comprehensive ability in Hunan Province. This paper has evaluated its comprehensiveability based on the listed companies in Hunan Province. Firstly, this paper hasintroduced the basic situation of the listed companies in Hunan Province. Secondly, Ithas evaluated the listed companies’ comprehensive ability in Hunan Province from theaspects of financial capacity and governance capacity by the factor analysis and theAHP. Accordingly it has pointed out the existing issues in the development of thelisted companies in Hunan Province. Finally, this paper has put forward suggestions toimprove the comprehensive ability of the listed companies.Through the analysis and evaluation, this paper founds that the financial capacityand the governance capacity of the listed companies in Hunan Province are in themedium level, and the comprehensive ability of the listed companies in HunanProvince needs to be improved. By further analysis, this paper has summarized theexisting issues of the listed companies’ development in Hunan Province such as poorfinancial performance, imperfect corporate governance structure, lack of goodcompanies, low overall quality and so on. Based on above issues, this paper has putforward appropriate suggestions as following: developing regional economy,establishing good environment for economic development, speeding up theadjustment and upgrade of industrial structure, optimizing the industrial structure,improving corporate governance structure and the operating performance of the listedcompanies, expanding the scale of the listed companies and so on. This paper has great importance for learning the present situation of economic development in HunanProvince and improving the economic strength of Hunan Province.
