Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd is a new enterprise which was re-organized and established in2005after systematic change and regroup of Jiangnan Machinery Works according to the government policy of Ordnance Enterprise Changing System and Breaking Away From Difficult Situation. Although it has been several years since the reorganization and the company has improved its earning situation, the development difficulty of Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd, such as incomplete stripling of social function, aging of equipment, shortage of technical talents is still not solved effectively. It is meaningful to take consideration on how to realize the transition of Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd from a distress solving orientied enterprise to a development orientied enterprise.Firstly, according to the historical background of the Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd, the external environment and internal resource is analyzed. Based on the SWOT analysis, the development direction is clearly pointed out for Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd. Secondly, the overall strategy of the company which contains the refocusing strategy and small core controlling center operation strategy is designed. Thirdly, the implementation plan and the PDCA controlling plan of the strategy are respectively provided. Additionally, the expected effect of the strategy and its implementation is analyzed. The thesis is aimed at promoting of the core competence of the Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd, and applies the refocusing strategy and small core controlling center operation strategy to the reform and development of the company. Thus it is helpful for the long term development of the Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd. It is suggested that the company should focus on the machinery industry, promote the brand of Dingsheng, scientifically allocate different resource, propel the company gear to the modern enterprise in the aspect of management and the operation, thus Jiangnan Machinery Industries Co.Ltd can realize the leap-forward development. And the conclusion of the thesis is also helpful for the other Ordnance Industries Group.
