The Study On The Transformation From Chief Accountant System To CFO System

Proposed at1960s, CFO system is developing with the modern enterprise system. So far, CFO system has been one of the most important and valuable top positions within the modern company system in developed countries, especially in America.CFO system is now developing in a professional, marketing and standardized way. As the top financial Officer within the company, CFO is participating in the company operation, decision-making among top managers and the strategic targets-planning process, and now CFO has become the strategic partner to the CEO, ranking only second to the CEO in the company.Chief accountant system in our country firstly took shape in the1960s, and was developing in1980s.Chief accountant system played an important role in protecting the national interests and the developing of the company. Now, as the domestic and overseas economic environment is becoming complicated and the enterprise system is setting up, there are higher requests for the ability of the Chief accountant. The Chief accountant system in our country is in the transforming process to the CFO system, but until now the transformation is far from good.This paper explains the Chief accountant system and the CFO system thoroughly, which contains their developing history and their position as well as their duties within the company. Then this paper make a contrastive analysis of the chief accountant system and the CFO system, which serves as a helpful reference to the transformation from the Chief accountant system to the CFO system. At last this paper proposes some suggestions on how to promote the transformation from the Chief accountant system to CFO system.
