The world is now witnessing an increasingly globalized economy withintensified competition, rapidly advancing technology, shortening product life cycleand information explosion. Risks and uncertainties abound, shifting the world marketinto a place of unprecedented complexities. In such a context, it’s getting harder forenterprises to sustain operation and keep developing. In order to enhance innovationto cope with the global competition and achieve sustainable development, it’s a crucialapproach for enterprises to establish a cultivation mechanism of intrapreneurs topromote the growth of intrapreneurs. Given this, with an eye to the establishment ofintrapreneur cultivation mechanism, this paper have discussed the traits ofintrapreneurs and their cultivation mechanism to help enterprises recognize peoplewith intrapreneur potentials among its staff and help with these people’s growth, thuspropel the innovation and development of the enterprises.After introducing the connotation of the intrapreneur in the first place, based onthe combing and summary of domestic and foreign references in the correlative field,this paper have defined the concept of intrapreneur and then carried out a research onthe traits of intrapreneurs with the aim of providing guidelines for enterprises to spotworking staff with intrapreneur potentials. Afterwards, this paper explored into thecrucial elements in the cultivation of intrapreneurs. On this basis and combiningChina’s actual conditions and cultural background, this paper have put forward acultivation mechanism of intrapreneurs, which can provide a constructive referencefor Chinese enterprises in their intrapreneur cultivation. Finally, this paper presentsthe prospect for further research.
