As a emerging strategic industries, the Internet industry in China has made arapid development, to these enterprise, high-quality staff is the key factor for itsrapid development, therefore, it has the positive practical significance for how toconstruct a compensation system with higher employee satisfaction and long-termincentive according to the strategic goal of the enterprise and actual operationsituation. As the latest trends in compensation management, the total compensationwe studied in this paper has abundant content, can meet the employee’s diverseneeds and help enterprises to effectively establish the competitive advantage ofhuman resources, thus finally achieve the common development of enterprises andemployees.This paper firstly introduces related content about pay and total compensation,then gives an overview on the industry current situation and the GW companyorganization, human resources status and remuneration system status. The paperanalyses the existing problems of the salary system through survey of the staff’ssalary satisfaction. On this basis, my thesis draws on the latest research results anduses the theoretical knowledge to design the comprehensive pay system of GWcompany from the perspective of the employee psychological contract, includingsalary, pay for performance, welfare and internal salary. At last, the paper putforward some safeguards for the implement of this total compensation system, suchas attention of the leadership, the support of the staff and the system construction.The author hopes that through this study to build a comprehensive pay systemsuitable for GW company, then can stimulate the employee’s initiative, enthusiasmand creativity, and enhance the cohesion and competitiveness of the enterprise. Atthe same time, the author also hope that through the research for the detailed designprocess of GW company’s comprehensive compensation system, can provide auseful reference for these enterprises and other business mangers who want tounderstand and successfully establish the pay system, then can broaden itsapplication field.
