| With the development of our national economy, the demand of coal as the basicenergy is growing, more and more new needs for transport of coal to be met by thewaterway channel of “carry austral Chinese north coalâ€. China’s major coal portoperations are posing increasing pressure. Coal port through capacity shortage is alsoincreasingly obvious. In such a circumstance, Huanghua Port, as a new energy port ofour country, has a rapid development. In recent years, Huanghua Port continues toaccelerate the construction of the foundation design, and the cargo throughput hasremained the rapid rise of more than15%. But at the same time, the shipping turnoveris slow and a long residence time is gradually revealed. How to compare and measurethe level of development, understand the resource usage and improve port efficiencybecomes the problem to be solved.To measure the Huanghua Port efficiency,this research compare10coal ports inour country by using Data Envelopment model and collect the score of Huanghua Portefficiency. First, this research improved Data Envelopment model by introducingVirtual decision making unit and Constraint vector, it makes up the insufficient in thisstudy field and makes the result become objective and discriminable. Second, thisresearch makes up the study only in container port, when this research build theevaluation of port efficiency model, it comes with the production angle, the portinfrastructure and the port throughput, and combine with coal port characteristics, theown railway line length, the quay length, the yard capacity.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter analyzes the researchbackground, significance, purpose, method, content; the second chapter brieflycompares several ports efficiency evaluation method and the data envelopmentanalysis method, and makes the improvement to the problem of port; the third chapteranalyzes the coal transportation in Huanghua port and forecast our country coalshipping needs, and makes a comparison between the Huanghua port, its competitiveport infrastructure and water economy. In the fourth chapter, it completed the indexesand combined with the AHP analytic hierarchy process for input output index, indexweight; In the fifth chapter, compare10coal ports in our country by using Data Envelopment model and collect the score of Huanghua Port efficiency; the lastchapter is the conclusion and prospect. |
