Working is the core of human life. Working condition exerts a great influence on people’s self-concept, values, social cognition and thinking ability. In academic terms, scholars have conducted researches on working or career, such as career success, job performance, job burnout, turnover intention, from many perspectives like psychology, management, sociology. Working is inseparable from individual and organization. Therefore, the research on working or career has always been the hot spot of academic circle and practice circle.Career growth within the organization refers to that the employees career progression within the organization in the current speed, Including the speed of the development of vocational ability, the pace of the progress of career goals, promotion speed and rewards of the growth rate of four dimensions. Compared to career success and career development, career growth is more micro, more to measure the individual’s career progression. The theory of career growth gets some research in recent years.Job burnout is mainly due to the pressure of work. China is in transition in economies, increasing pressure of work and life. In order to adapt to a dynamic environment, Companies need to constantly adjust the organizational structure。 The staff also put forward higher requirements and need to take more responsibility and pressure.The staff are very prone to burnouts Job burnout will have an impact on the physical and mental health of employees, job performance, and work-life balance.Career commitment mainly as a career of identity and emotional.Research on career commitment has made a wealth of research results。With the arrival of the boundarless career, Organizational structure is increasingly flat, coupled with the external environment changes, the organization needs to constantly change to adapt to the external environment, The staff not only need to improve the competitiveness within the organization, but also to improve employability outside the organization, The psychological contract of knowledge workers and organizations has also changed, Knowledge workers loyalty to the organization’s is continuing shift in the loyalty and commitment to their career,. Career commitment has become a hot topic in human resource management and academic research.Career growth, career commitment and job burnout are the important issues in human resource management, which are closely connected to the interests of workers and paid great attention by the academic. With the economic and social development, the number and status of knowledge workers has been enhanced constantly in enterprises. Compared with other workers, knowledge workers attach greater importance on their own career progress, the value of their work and the quality of working life, etc. Thus, there are important theoretical and practical significance in discussing the relationship among career growth, career commitment and job burnout.Based on relative theories of job burnout and from the perspective that workers are concerned most about work, this thesis discusses the relationship among career growth, career commitment and job burnout, analyzing the effect of career growth and career commitment on job burnout and the regulatory role of career commitment playing on the relationship between career growth and job burnout by studying literature and questionnaire and empirical research on205knowledge workers in enterprises. It draws to the conclusion:(1) Career growth is obviously negatively correlated with job burnout.(Beta=-0.319, P=0.000),It means that the career growth is the predictors of job burnout. It confirmed that the work factor is the point of view of job burnout.(2) The three dimensions of career growth are not significantly affected by the job burnout dimension of emotional exhaustion, The three dimensions of career growth are significantly affected by the job burnout dimension of cynicism and low personal accomplishment.(3) Career commitment are significantly affected by career growth, confirmed that the professional growth and career commitment are related.(4)Career commitment is negatively correlated with job burnout.(Beta=-0.498, P=0.000),that is, the higher the sense of career commitment is, the lower the sense of job burnout. (5) Career commitment regulates the relationship between career growth and job burnout.(Beta=-0.635, P=0.00),that is, with the improvement of career commitment, the effect of career growth on job burnout gradually increases. Career commitment regulates the relationship between the three dimensions of career growth and cynicism, that is, with the enhancement of professional commitment, the three dimensions of career growth gradually increase the impact of cynicism;.Career commitment regulates the relationship between the three dimensions of career growth and personal accomplishment, that is, with the enhancement of professional commitment, the three dimensions of career growth gradually increase the impact of low personal accomplishment.This study enriches the research on the outcome variables of career growth and career commitment and the antecedent variables of job burnout, furthering the knowledge about the value and discipline of career growth and job burnout.
