In the context of the economic globalization and trade liberalization, the service trade has been obtaining rapid development. The tourism service trade as a service trade important component has become an important impetus of world economic growth. Since China’s accession to the WTO, the tourist foreign exchange income of the Sichuan province tourism service trade had increased from$122million to$593million.Compared to other domestic tourism area, Sichuan tourism services trade competitiveness is still weak, for example total exports of tourism services trade are small, the province’s tourism development is not balanced, the training of tourism talents team is slowed, and the construction of tourist infrastructure is lagged. These problems have become the bottleneck affect Sichuan tourism trade in services and improved competitiveness.This article is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the research background of this article and research purposes, discusses the theoretical and practical significance to study the competitiveness and the influence factors of Sichuan tourism services trade, proposes the research ideas and framework system.The second part introduced the research achievement of domestic and international research field from two perspectives of competitiveness and the competitiveness of tourism services trade.The third part defines the concept of tourism service trade and describes the characteristics, then discusses the present situation of the Sichuan province tourism service trade.The fourth section, referencing from Michael Porter’s diamond model, we qualitatively analyze influencing factors from production, market demand, corporate strategy, structure and competition, and related supporting industries, meanwhile select the representative indicators to quantitatively analyze the tourism services trade differences between Sichuan province and the developed areas in order to analyze present situation and the existing problems of the Sichuan province tourism service trade.The fifth section, from analyzing the competitiveness index of Sichuan province tourism service trade, we establish two index:tourism services trade the domestic market share (MS), revealed comparative advantage index (RCA). Compared with the developed areas of the national tourism service trade, we analyze the Sichuan province tourism service trade the level of competitiveness across the county, then establish the empirical model to analyze how the factors of the tourism industry organization, exchange rates, tourist traffic and human resource affect the development of the Sichuan tourism service trade.The sixth section, based on the previous analysis, we propose the corresponding policy recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of the Sichuan tourism service trade. |
