Empirical Research On The Efficiency Of Liaocheng Rural Commercial Bank

As the product of rural financial reform,rural commercial bankserves as the guide of rural financial reform.Now that rural commercialbank is determined to be financial corporation and then how to strengthenmanagement, improve profit-making capacity and service become theimportant issue in its development.Efficiency embodies the competenceof bank, serves as the important index for the distribution of resourcesand operation effect and influences the sustainable development of bank.This thesis is supposed to do some research on the efficiency issue ofLiaocheng rural commercial bank,focusing on the analysis ofmeasurement method,influencing factor of efficiency in Liaocheng ruralcommercial bank,eventually finding out the solution to improving theefficiency in Liaocheng rural commercial bank. And this holds the realitysignificance for deepening the reform and improving the efficiency inLiaocheng rural commercial bank.This thesis makes fully use of the relevant theory and result of bankefficiency home and abroad,demonstrating in details about the index andnon-index method for measuring the bank efficiency and on this base theauthor analyzes and compares the advantage and disadvantage of the twomethods.Combining of the focus of this thesis, the author chooses thedata envelop analysis method to measure the static efficiency of ruralcommercial bank and Malmquist index for the dynamic efficiency.This thesis takes17branches of Liaocheng rural commercial bank as theresearch object and analyzes the static efficiency between2007and2011and the dynamic change of annual efficiency from the perspective ofempirical research.The research shows that the reform in Liaocheng ruralcommercial bank in recent years is effective and the profit in most of itsbranches is increasing.Having considered the actual situation, the thesisobjectively analyzes the factors influencing the efficiency in Liaochengrural commercial bank and on this base put forward some suggestions forimproving the efficiency in rural commercial bank.
