The Application Study On Lean Six Sigma In35Station Of A Aircraft Tianjin Final Assembly Line

Lean Six Sigma is a kind of product which is manufactured by the scientific improvementand the rat race in the commercial business. The core purpose of Lean Six Sigma is reducingthe waste. It uses various means to achieve its core purpose, in order to obtain the maximumprofit. Because this management approach is really flexible, efficient and easy to handle, so alot of companies are now implementing it.The35Station of A Aircraft Final Assembly Line is the study objective for this paper. We willuse Lean Six Sigma management methods to optimize the production processes&the supplychain of station.First we make a simple introduction to the background and management system of the AAircraft Final Assembly Line. Then we review the original concepts and basic tools of LeanSix Sigma. Let it be the theoretical basis for optimized station35. In the third and fourthchapters, we use the DRIVER analysis process to find the reason of torque wrenchimproperly used. We also make a judgment for the bottleneck process for the air conditioninstallation in the FWD cargo and the FTIS. Focusing on the mainly causing reason for thisproblem, we provide some rectification methods. After we make an analysis for the problemwhich appearances in the supply chain during the spare parts procurement, we propose a setof solutions as below to solve this problem: build up a hospital stock for the spare parts,which are highly used frequency; set the focus point coordinator for this problem; make aclear supply process for the different material suppliers. In the chapter five, this articlefocuses on the team building; propose to establishment a round–table team structure. At theend of this article, we summarize the research results achieved in this paper and also describethe defects of this article.
