As the production has been gradually unified in a global scale, the competition betweenevery industry and enterprise has becom e more and m ore fierce. Im proving product qualityand the production efficiency has becom e a necessary factor for survival and develop ment ofthe current manufacturing enterprises. All the enterprises in the product chain have cast theirsight on the production model which is more suitable for small quantity, m ultiple types andlow consumption. There are m any elements that determined the product quality. One of themost im portant m ethods for the enterprise to obtain com petitive power is to continuallyimprove quality during the process of production management.This article is aim ing at the rubber producti on enterprise to study the existing questionand the method about improving product quality and production efficiency during the processof production m anagement by using the principles of industrial engineering m anagement. Itespecially focuses on the Com pany Z about its method of continually im proving productionefficiency as well as its application result. And it will advance the goal of which the enterprisecould optimize production process and production efficiency.The article explains the m ethod which applies the industrial engineering principles intoimproving production efficiency through analyzi ng the present status of the Com pany Z’sproduction process and introducing som e questions, m eanwhile, using the industrialengineering management as the guidance, the production spot as the basis of study and theactual improvement result as the foundation.Company Z, the study object of this article, is a rubber production enterprise w hichcombines design and production as one. Recent years, the m arket econom y has beenexpanded and enterprises have gradually been enlarged as well. Meantime,the competitionbetween the m arket and the industry is incr easingly fierce. Com pany Z also needs totransform its traditional production m odel to a new one which is m ore suitable for sm allquantity, multiple types and low consumption.By using industrial engineering as the basic conception and lean pr oduction as the mainidea, the article dev elops a targeted analys is to conclude a feasible improvem ent solutionbased on the present status of Company Z. Generally, it includes two points of the study.First, it considers the production process of this com pany’s product. The com pany hasshortened its transferring time of the finished product, decreased the storag e space ofwarehouses,reduced the transportation costs and increased the production efficiency while itpromotes the current produce process. Second, it applies the action m ethod research, anti-fault analysis research, ergonomics research of the industrial engineering to shorten theoperation tim e of production, re lieve the la bor inten sity of operators and promote theproduction efficiency. After the effective optimization and improving solution, Company Zhas tremendously promoted its production efficiency and product quality.
