The Relation Of Intellectual Capital And Technological Innovation Based On The Life Cycle Of Enterprise

In the age of the knowledge economy, physical products, as the content of competition among the companies, had been replaced by the intangible technical, intelligence and knowledge. The most important issue that the companies especial knowledgebase high tech enterprises urgently need to solve is effective management and using of intelectual capital, implementing the value of intellectual capital in the operation and management, and releasing the maximum effectiveness of intellectual capital.The guide and direct reason of the birth, emergency and growth of hightech is the technology innovation, and as the core competitiveness of the hightech enterprises, technology innovation directly determines the survival and development. Consequently, analyzing the relationship between intellectual and technology innovation has a theory value and practical significance for the company take advantage of intellectual capital to enhance the ability of technology innovation.This article’s study includes enterprise life cycle, intellectual capital, and technology innovation and so on, during the research process, taking use of the method which is the combination of statistics and management. Finding out and summarizing the basic state of study object by qualitative analysis method, describing objectively the study object from view point of quantitative. The intellectual capital as a new concept, currently there is no unified theory and measurement method, the definition and measurement of intellectual capital in this paper is based on the previous research result and then building a concept model on the basis of literature review, collecting and processing index data through questionnaire, applying factor analysis to classify the data of intellectual and technology innovation by index, analyzing the enterprise life cycle by the growth rate comparative method of economics, and based on the combination of three variable data, proposing that the relationship between intellectual capital and technology innovation during stage of the enterprise life cycle are different. By dividing the data in the different stage into different groups, we discuss the relationship between three dimensions of intellectual:human capital, structural capital, and relationship capital and technology innovation in the process of the enterprise life cycle. In the empirical study,we use the SPSS statistical tools for data processing, which involves reliability and validity testing, factor analysis, group regression analysis, partial correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis, validating and testing the hypothesis model, at last we get the final result.The conclusions of study demonstrate that, in different stage of enterprise lift cycle, the impact of intellectual capital on the technology innovation is different. Human capital, structural capital and relationship capital make optimal impact on the technology innovation during the whole stage of enterprise life cycle, in the different stage; each index has a distinct effect. The human capital has a significant effect on technology innovation during the whole stage of enterprise life cycle, the effect of relationship capital during the growth stage; structural capital has a negative influence to technology innovation in the decline stage. Overall, the effect of human capital on the technology innovation is strongest, structural capital and relationship capital is weak, and there is interaction in different degree among the three dimensions. During the different stage of enterprise life cycle, in the case of character of enterprise’s growth stage, the development level of intellectual capital are different, so the significant of the interaction is different, the interaction between human capital and the other two is more significant than the interaction between the structural capital and relationship capital.
