Understanding Of The Business Models Of The Trust Industry In China By Case Study

After its ups and downs for more than30years, the trust industry inChina finally approached its prosperity stage after2007. To sum up theexperiences, the most fundamental rule is that the legal framework, theregulatory principle and the business direction must be based on thepositioning of the trust industry’s nature.The dissertation focuses on how the positioning is reflected in thebusiness model of the trust industry, what the appropriate businessmodels are, why and how they promoted the rapid development of trustcompanies after2007, as well as their current status and future prospects.As a result, the dissertation analyzes the bank-trust cooperation,government-trust cooperation, real estate-trust, securities private trust,charitable trust, and a few other innovative trust business models. Thedissertation begins with detailed cases, and then summarizes their generalcharacteristics. After that, we will explore deeply the motivation of thesetrust models’ development and the related risk prevention, and summarizetheir respective adaptation and problems. Finally, we will provide somesuggestions on the direction of further improvement, in accordance withthe direction of market and regulatory requirements.Compared with existing researches, the key features of thisdissertation lie in its highlight of practical experiences, introduction ofdetailed case, elaboration of trust business models’ structure andprocedure, and analysis of their characteristics and internal operation mechanism.
