At the same time, globalcompetition becomes more intense, especially OEM Tablet PC industry. In order tomeet the growing consumption, the designs of Tablet PC innovate constantly.Meantime the manufacturing companies must keep up the pace and improve theself-evaluation, analysis and adaptation capacity continuously if they want to seizeorders and produce with speed, quality and quantity. For OEM business, the first thingis to gain orders, then after a series of assessment, mockup, inspection and otherprocesses, the company can manufacture the products which meet the consumer’srequirements. This is a very complex project management process. During thedrawing transferred into a product, we have a lot of DOEs, different requirements,limited resources, personnel management and other factors that make the project moredifficulty, so the company should establish a good project development andmanagement system (PDCS) to control the project effectively and achieve the desiredresults. The development of new product should have a certain degree of flexibilitybecause of Tablet PC industry’s rapid development, technology innovation, andProject Management is a management model which is able to meet this flexibility.This paper introduces the research background and methods firstly, followed bythe project management knowledge systems, and then through analysis of F CompanyOEM Tablet PC project management status, ask questions and give solutionsaccordingly.
