Research On Coordination Of Health Care Insurance In China

The main purpose of this research is to demonstrate the reform and improvementproposals in the management of health care insurance coordination in China, and discussthe basic train of thought. According to the features of the research, this paper adoptsmethodologies of literature review, qualitative method, comparative method and so on.Firstly, the paper defines the long distance medical care and cross-border health careinsurance, and identifies their situations and characteristics. Particularly, the law,principles and experiences of the health care insurance coordination are compared, andthen the paper proposes the lessons we can learn from them.Secondly, the reasons of long distance medical care are analysed from the perspectivesof urbanization and aging trend, and the reasons of the problems in the health careinsurance coordination are discussed from the perspectives of the management principles,policies, resources distribution, the relationship between doctors and patients and so on.Although there exist problems in the supervision and management of healthcare insurancecoordination, the percentage of insured people is low, and the abnormal phenomena oflong distance medical care is increasing, these restrictions can be prohibited. China shouldimprove the reform process of health care insurance coordination further.What’s more, the theoretical basis of the healthcare insurance coordination is proposed,demonstrating the four principles of health care insurance coordination in Europe.Finally, it’s suggested the health care insurance coordination in China should be furtherimproved by adapting the management principles, making uniform policies, raising thecoordination level, renewing the internet technology, improving the lawmaking, and thesimplification of health care insurance coordination and open method of coordinationshould be explored deeply.
