Long-term care insurance is a kind of health insurance of compensating for the insured that someone is loss of function,someone cannot take care of themselves,someone need to check in rehabilitation center or to accept others care in the home. In the late 20th century, to control the rapid growth of population, the nation implement the family planning policy, as a result,the birth rate drops rapidly, and the progress of China’s ageing population speeds up. For the population pressure still being heavy in the first half of next century,our country will continue to adhere to the state policy of family planning, as a result China reaches the ageing peak earlier. Since our country entering an aging society, the growth of aging population goes fast, the population of disabled elders becomes more and more.The problem of taking care of aging population has become one of serious social problems in our country.Based on the reality of China’s ageing population growing rapidly, the function of family endowment weakening and the nursing cost rising, this article analyzes the factors which impact on the long-term care by ISM method and linear regression method.And on this basis we estimate the demand of long-term care insurance in China is very big in the future, However, the supply level of the long-term care insurance is very low, it cannot satisfy the demand of long-term care services。 Through introducing the system of nursing insurance of the US, Japan,Germany,the author attempt to provide some experience to the construction of long-term care insurance in China. Finally, combining with the actual situation of our country, the author put forward suitable mode for China’s long-term care insurance.
