Strategic emerging industry represents thedirection of technical innovation and the direction of industry development. Strategicemerging industry has an important role in the upgrade of industrial structure andchange of the mode of economic growth. Liaoning province is now in the key stage ofindustrial structure upgrade, and it faces the double pressure from the acceleration ofindustrialization and the change of economic development mode. The development ofstrategic emerging industry in Liaoning province is important for the industrial structureoptimization and the improvement of the industry competitiveness.
