In recent years, with the development of the market economy in China, the capital of the ecological environment plays a more and more important role in the sustainable development of the economy. Poyang Lake, as only no eutrophication lake of four largest freshwater lake, the good development of whose ecological environment has a far-reaching impact on the social and economic development in Jiangxi. The State Council officially ratified the "Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone planning " on December12,2009, it is based on this background, this thesis, which combines with the actual situation of Poyang Lake region, carries out systematic study of its ecological capital and ecological capital operation problems.The second chapter introduces the concept and theoretical basis of ecological capital and ecological capital operation. Ecological capital is complement and development of the concept of capital, it is also the deepening development of the concept of natural capital, the core of the ecological capital of concern is the quality of the ecological environment. The basic goal of ecological capital operation is to preserve and increase its value, the core operation is based on the local ecological capital, through overall development of the ecological capital, the development of the ecological quality elements which may be form products and the development of the biological production environment condition and ecological leisure environment condition, it realizes ecological capital monetization.The third chapter uses shadow price method and shadow engineering method to calculate the value of ecosystem services in Poyang Lake, in order to assess Poyang Lake Ecological capital value, from which can be seen that growth potential of the Poyang Lake ecosystem services value is great. Furthermore, this thesis use Entropy Method to empower ecological capital and economic indicators in the Poyang Lake region, and analyze the coordination of ecological capital and economy in six cities (Nanchang, Jiujiang, Jingdezhen, Yingtan, Xinyu, Fuzhou) of Poyang Lake region through the coordination degree and coordinated development degree, the result indicates that the overall coordination is low, which determines that the long-term socio-economic development in the Poyang Lake region must take ecological capital operation as the core.The fourth chapter applies system dynamics method (System Dynamics, SD) to build a simulation model for financial backing of ecological capital operation in Poyang Lake Zone in order to analyze dynamic behaviors and development trends in the process of ecological capital operation, and finally putting forward four financial support modes for ecological capital operation. By contrasting the four modes, the interactive operation mode of the ecological agriculture, the ecological tourism, the ecological industry and the financial support is the best mode for the harmonious development between ecology and economy in Poyang Lake Zone.The sixth chapter firstly proposes ecological capital operation target in Poyang Lake region, and then according to function positioning of functional partition in Poyang Lake region, it puts forward the ecological capital operation mode which is suitable for its development for each functional area. Finally, this chapter also proposes maintenance strategy and industrial strategy of the ecological capital, so as to ensure that the ecological capital operation can be well ordered.Finally, the thesis concludes the research and proposes future research topics.
