The Study On The Development Of Wetland Tourism In Panjin City

The wetland is one of the three eco-systems on the earth, because of its strong functions;it has been called “the kidney of the earth”,“natural reservoir” and “a paradise for birds”.The wetland not only has rich resources and powerful functions, and also high value oftourism development. As the eco-tourism grew up, the eco-value of wetland was found andwelcomed by people, wetland tourism rose. Wetland tourism has been developed for over10years in our country, but overall development level is not high. According to the currentdomestic situation on wetland tourism, Panjin City should rely on unique wetland resources,grasping the important strategic opportunities, improving the characteristics and depth ofwetland tourism development, in order to stand out from rest. This paper takes Panjin City asresearch object, uses sustainable development theory, landscape ecology theory, and so on,analyses the wetland tourism background and wetland tourism resources, in order to find aproper wetland tourism development pattern for Panjin.This paper includes5chapters and can be divided into three greatest parts:The first part includes first2chapters, mainly introduces theory research. First, this partintroduces the research background, significance of the topic, current research at home andbroad, the research methods. Second, it discusses relevant concepts and theories. Third,discusses the features, driving mechanism and limiting factors of wetland tourism.The second part is the third chapters, mainly analyses general conditions about wetlandtourism in Panjin. First, analyses the background and its competitiveness; next, using AHP toanalyses the development potential of wetland tourism. This paper builds proper patternaccording to these results.The third part includes the forth and fifth chapters, which is the most important. Itmainly uses the results from the front helping building a proper pattern of wetland tourism,which includes wetland tourism products’ design, spatial distribution and management mode.It also puts forward some measures, such as combining the wetland and city, extendingtourism industrial chain and protecting the environment.
