R&D Cooperation,Knowledge Spillover And Innovation Of Industrial Cluster In Zhejiang

Zhejiang is a leading manufacturing province, it also enjoys obvious industrial cluster and faster-growing R&D investment.After more than30years of reform and opening-up, Zhejiang’s industrial structure has been developing with evolution of industrial cluster and R&D input and cooperation. R&D cooperation, industrial cluster, as two important sources of knowledge spillovers, and their interaction between knowledge spillovers, as well as regional R&D cooperation&input and evolution of industrial cluster are of very important significance to innovation of regional industrial cluster, which also directly affect government’s R&D policy, industrial policy formulation and related economic behavior. Study of R&D cooperation, local knowledge spillovers and regional industrial cluster innovation, has become an important theoretical significance and practical value proposition, which is the root cause of this thesis.This thesis is divided into six main parts:The first part is an introduction, which briefly introduces the research background and significance of this thesis. The second part is theoretical literature review, namely the comment on the domestic and international research literature of the R&D input, knowledge spillover and their interactive relation in industrial cluster. Third, a detailed analysis of Zhejiang R&D investment and cooperation.The analysis is made from different point of view, including regional R&D funding investment, R&D cooperation, human resource input.Fourth. a study of Zhejiang manufacture industrial cluster and historical changes of Zhejiang manufacturing industrial cluster.Fifth, Space panel data analysis of R&D investment and cooperation between industrial agglomeration and localized knowledge spillover effect on regional innovation.And the last part is a number of suggestions and countermeasures for Zhejiang industrial clusters innovation.The study found that the dominant industry of Zhejiang is still the traditional labor-intensive industries such as textile. Hangzhou. Ningbo, Shaoxing, Wenzhou and other places have a high degree of industrial agglomeration, and the formation of a multi-industry agglomeration. Various regional industrial clusters have established many regional scientific and technological innovation platform, but there still exist a lot of problems.Moreover, the study shows R&D funds invested, enterprises’ cooperaton with the Institute, colleges and universities for R&D cooperation on regional innovation exist positive elasticity.but R&D personnel and enterprises’R&D cooperation in investment in regional innovation exist negative elasticity, at the same time with the local knowledge overflow effect.
