Research On The Jilin Petrochemical Co Co-production Unit Of Ethylene Oxide Ethylene Glycol Project Cost Management

In order to raise project economic benefits, and enhance the enterprise’s competitive ability in the fierce competition in the market, in the concrete operation of enterprise project, as the advanced modern management concepts and management methods, project management is widely used for many large, medium-sized enterprises. It broke the previous administrative division of the Department functions management level, and formed with the the project as the core of the management mode, which realize the project’s low cost, high quality and short construction period and other target. The project management research that how to effectively play the role of cost management, improve project management standard, and ensure the smooth progress of the project were payed more attentions.At present, China’s chemical unit project cost management is also extensive mode. Cost management becomes a mere formality, and the project’cost often exceeds the budget. Its reasons basically depend on:(1) the lack of progressive concept of Cost management;(2) cost budgeting and cost estimating is not accurate;(3) emphasizing the construction progress but not considering the cost increases;(4) the lack of corresponding cost control measures.The papers took The Jilin Petrochemical Co co-production of ethylene oxide ethylene glycol plant project as the project background, through the analysis of the basic situation of the project in resource planning, cost estimating, cost budgeting and cost control four aspects, and find out the project cost management experience and the existing problems to study the method and application of chemical device cost management, and puts forward specific cost management suggestions, in order to reduce the risk of project management, and improve economic benefits. Through this study, I believe it will provide some help for the chemical engineering device of Jilin Petrochemical Co project cost management, and to provide reference for the project cost management of some enterprises.
