Research On Peasants’ Behavior Of Participating In Agriculture Standardized Production

Agriculture standardization is a standardization activities object to agriculture. After more than100years’development and accumulating, there has been a complete agriculture standardization system in western developed countries. The developed countries’ agriculture standardized operation not only ensures the quality and safety of agricultural products, but also greatly promoted the development of its modern agriculture. At present, the agricultural standardization has become an important means of developing modern agriculture and enhancing the international competitiveness of agricultural in the world. The agriculture standardization work started later in China. Compared with the developed western countries, China’s agriculture standardization is still at the primary stage. Sichuan is a traditional agricultural province; it plays a very important part in the national agricultural production, so the promotion of its agricultural standardization implementation is particularly important. However, Sichuan’s agricultural production is a typical traditional small-scale-operation mode. Although after more than ten years’ promotion, agricultural standardization work in Sichuan is still falling behind. In view of this, researching on the behavior of peasants’participation in agriculture standardized production in Sichuan province will have important realistic meaning not only to improve the level of agricultural standardization production in Sichuan, but also promote the efficiency of agriculture and peasants’ income. Additional, it also can enrich the agriculture standardized theory research in China.The research contents of this study include the following several parts:The first chapter, introduction, which expounded the overall structure and research ideas of the whole study; The second chapter, theory foundation, analyzed the main contents of behavioral economics, standard economics and transaction cost theory and their enlightenment to this study; In the third chapter, we empirical analyzed the present situation of the agriculture standardization and peasants production situation of participating in standardization in Sichuan; In the fourth chapter, firstly we statistical analyzed the households’ personal characteristics, family characteristics and the general situation of their participated in standardization production. And then establish logistic model, analyzed peasants’ will influencing factors of participating in agriculture standardized production with the SPSS software; In chapter5, we analyzed the form, standardization, product marketing way and standardized production effect of peasants’ participation in agriculture standardized production, finally using C-D production function analyzed their standardized production efficiency; The sixth chapter proposed countermeasures for the problems of peasants’ participation in agriculture standardized production. The main research conclusions are as follows: (1)The planting standardized production in Sichuan is actual promotion relatively slow. Performance on standardized development and distribution uneven, level is low; the process of standardization supervision and control lax, standardized infrastructure is not perfect, the peasants are passive in the process of agriculture standardization;(2)Peasants will of standardized production is influenced by many factors together. Measure results show that peasants’ age, the education degree, part-time job, cognitive on the standardized, land availability, production organization form, market expectation, the main crop production cycle, crop rotation frequency and the difficulty of accepting the guidance have significant influence on the will of peasants’participating in the agricultural standardization production;(3)The process of peasants’standardization production need to be supervised and controlled. In the standardized production process, the economic factors can still lead to peasants’"speculative" behavior, such as the non-standard in spraying pesticide and fertilizer;(4)The efficiency of planting industry standardization production is higher than conventional production. Compared with the conventional production, standardized production’s increasing production and income effect respectively increased by19.41%and42.56%; At the same time, standardized production’s profit rate on costs and input-output ratio are higher than regular production, respectively about49.81%and29.07%;(5)The efficiency of the standardized production needs to improve. Materials and labor input still made the largest contribution on the planting industry standardized production output in Sichuan, but the contribution by technical factors is small, scale effect of land is not fully revealed.Finally, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures:Firstly, the direction of promoting Sichuan planting standardization are making the special advantage industries as the key point, taking the increasing the price of standardized agricultural products and expanding its market as the guide means. We can encourage peasants to participate in standardization production by improving the systematize of peasants, reducing peasants’ learning cost, improving the land circulation system, establishing quality products price mechanism and perfecting quality products’marketing channels; Improve the quality monitoring level of the planting industry standardization production; Improve the planting industry standardization production technology service level and strongly support the development of rural economic organization standardization.
