Najiangshi Yonhap Town Of Strawberry Production Technology Research

The strawberry also called the cranberry and arbutus and it is a red fruit. The strawberry is the collective name of rosaceae family plants, belonging to perennial herbaceous plant. The strawberry is delicious, tender and succulent and contains special strong fruit fragrance. It has high nutrition value for its rich vitamin C, helping to digest, enhance gingiva, make fresh breath and moisten the throat. Since1980s, Chinese strawberry industry experiences vigorous development with planting area and volume of production ranking top in the world. This industry has become one of important economic sources for rural areas which are oriented at the strawberry industry. Neijiang City started agricultural structure adjustment since2007and established to vigorously develop six pillars agricultural industries with special characteristics including such fruits and vegetables as the strawberry in the11th Five-year Plan in order to form typical regional economy. Since2009, Yongan Town begun to plant the strawberry, holding more than80mu steel frame greenhouse and over30mu small arched shed for strawberry planting with annual output value of more than RMB900,000. Yongan Town has the arable area of more13,000mu, of which5000mu is planned to cultivate special aquatics and high-quality vegetables and the remaining is used to plant ordinary crops by farmers. However, those crops have low values and have little benefits after deducting the costs. Less labour forces are required in planting the strawberry with simple field management and lower physical strengths and even the common farmers can run it well. Under this circumstance, the strawberry is widely planted and promoted duce to its high economic values and easy cultivation and care, benefiting for solving rural remaining labour forces and improving rural people’s income.This paper studies issues in the Neijiang City Yongan Town strawberry production technology promotion, mainly including firstly, system construction:imperfect agricultural extension system, imperfect legal system and agricultural promotion system not suitable with practical work needs; secondly, service facilities:discontinuous basic-level promotion service network, fall-behind township-level promotion center’s facilities not matching with modern agricultural technology development; thirdly, human resources:promoter’s obsolete knowledge not matching with ever-changing modern agricultural technology development and traditional promotion concept not applicable with current promotion. The solutions for above-mentioned issues are as follows.Through the theory and practice, this paper proposes the following solutions:in the first place, it is necessary to enhance function construction of agricultural technology, improve governments’ financial support and investment to agricultural promotion system. In the second place, it should perfect the legal system construction under the support of technology, cultivating the agricultural promoters and enhancing functions of the trade associations. Lastly, they should also establish perfect propagating system of virus-free seedlings of excellent varieties and improve quality of agricultural technicians.
