It has been a crucial moment for Intergenerational inheritance in chinese family businesses which are developing during the chinese30years’reform and opening up to the outside world.While a number of succession facts both in china and abroad showed that it is really a barrier for family businesses to successfully hand over as the history proves that nearly70%family businesses failed to hand over to next generation. Due to the imperfect management of professional managers in China and the strong influence of traditional culture, the incumbent of family businesses will only consider to transfer the leadership to his own child.But Sons and daugthers in family businesses refuse to success their father’s business.This is one of the most important reasons that failed to hand ove. Therefore, the incumbent should think about what affects their intention to succession, what is the reason, how to carry out the specific succussion plan?Current research on sueeesso rdevelopment lags behind andfull fledged analysis frame hasn’t emerged.The results which did by the researcher in China are mostly based on the Stavrou(1998) four factors theory,which analysed the influencing factor of Inheritance Intention from the following four aspects:personal aspect;business aspect;marketing aspect and family aspect.However, these four aspects overestimated the micorperspective, and lack of the perspectives from macroecnomic and political envirnoment. In this paper, I will give a comprehensive summary to the influcing factors of inheritance intention in order to improve the succession theory.After reviewing the Previous intergenerationalsuecession theories, this paper will Base on the actual situation of chinese family business, considering the macro factors such as Chinese policy,economic situation and government&business relationship, summarized the main influcing factors of inheritance intention.Then, after thequestionnaire survey and face to face interview with succussors in Zhejiang Province,Jiangshu Province and Shanghai (mainly in Zhejiang)), it set up the conceptual model and raised up research hypothesis.Next, it used the factors analysis、correlation analysis and regression analysis to verify hypothesis and analyse the reasons.In the end, this paper got the results that there are six main influcing factors of inheritance intention:successor’s personal situation, incumbment succsusion attitude, succession structure, family business status, industry status and macroeconomic status.Finally, this paper gave some suggestions for sucession in combination with the analysis reslut and family business succession status, and the expected future work was depicted...
