The family business is the oldest organizational form of human industrial and commercial history and has a long history of development.Even after years of evolution and development,the family business in today's economic society still plays an important role.According to statistics,about one-third of the top 500 global companies selected by Fortune magazine are controlled by the family.In most countries,more than half of its GDP is created,and the employed labor force accounts for more than 85%of the world's employed population.These data undoubtedly illustrate the importance of family businesses to the development of the world economy.At present,China's family business is experiencing the peak period of intergenerational inheritance.However,the survey data shows that China's family business from the first generation to the second generation has 21.37%,but only 2.3%of the companies that can continue to the third generation[1].At present,it seems that inheritance has become one of the biggest threats to the growth of family businesses.The academic community has also paid attention to the importance of intergenerational inheritance of family businesses,and has also done a series of research on the intergenerational inheritance of family businesses.However,few studies will note the intergenerational inheritance of entrepreneurial social networks in family businesses,not to mention the factors that influence the intergenerational inheritance of entrepreneurial social networks.In view of the"special"form of family business,after the intergenerational inheritance,the importance of the continuation of entrepreneurial social network to the development of family business is self-evident.Steier's?2001?study shows that the possibility of business owners passing knowledge and social networks to the next generation of family members determines whether succession is successful[2].How to maximize the social network's inheritance in the family business is a key issue that enterprises that are facing or will soon face intergenerational inheritance have to think about.This is also the focus of this paper.Through the study of past related literatures,through the establishment of theoretical models affecting the inheritance of social networks,through the questionnaires and statistical analysis of more than 150 family businesses in China,the following conclusions are drawn:?1?Former entrepreneurs The willingness to inherit has a positive impact on the inheritance of social networks.?2?The ability of successor entrepreneurs has a positive effect on the inheritance of social networks.?3?The consistency of the values of the two generations of entrepreneurs has a positive effect on the inheritance of social networks.?4?The relationship quality between the two generations of entrepreneurs has a positive adjustment effect between the succession of entrepreneurial entrepreneurs and the inheritance of social networks.At the same time,the last chapter of this paper will give some tentative opinions or suggestions to the family business in terms of network inheritance based on the empirical conclusions,in order to provide some reference for the family business that will enter the intergenerational inheritance with the inheritance of social networks.
