Research On Industry Evolution And The Effection Of Innovation Factors

Under the background of economic globalization, the international competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Industry is the department of the national economy, and its development directly determines a country’s economic development and international competitiveness. As a basic means of competition, Innovation has a fundamental role in promoting the industry evolution. Because of the different industry characteristics, there are many differences among the results of innovation driving on the different industrial evolution, it didn’t make full use of the innovation input and caused resource waste. This paper aims to make quantitative analysis on the manifestation of this difference, and to explore the different industries’sensitivity of each innovation index, so as to provide advice on strengthening the innovation capability.This article first described the current and future research status on the innovation and industry evolution by summarizing the previous research, and found there are almost no researches based on the difference analysis by decomposing innovation index of driving industry evolution. Aiming at this problem, this innovation index is divided into two categories including three indexes:R&D funds investment, personnel investment in R&D and the patent number. Firstly, discussed on the basic logic of industry evolution, and use the framework of SCP analytical paradigm to reasoning the process of innovation drive industry evolution from the theory aspect. Then described the present development situation of different industry from three aspects after evaluating and decomposing the innovation index,and found the input of different index was different between different industries. Secondly.after choosing some evolution indexes based on the previous analysis, an empirical research was made on the evolution difference among different industry by establishing a panel data model about the high technology industry.Otherwise, the reasons why there are differences were analyzed by combing the industry characteristics. Finally,some suggestions could be put forward based on the theoretical and empirical analysis results.
