With the evolution of the productive methods and life styles of human beings, the transportation system has greatly changed in both connotation and denotation. A country or region’s economic, political, cultural and social life are inseparable from support and protect of the transportation, transportation play a pivotal role in the promotion of socio-economic development and human civilization progress. On the one hand, as an important link between social interaction and economic development, transportation is responsible for social resources flowing in the region and Industries, which has a great significance to promoting regional economic development and the whole socio-economic; On the other hand, transport own development is also affected and restricted by regions economic development.The development paths of developing regions economic growth are different from the developed areas due to tine-space special factors; transportation of developing regions also should be different from the same period in the history of the developed areas, which is a derived demand produced by economic development. By applying a large amount of statistical dates, this paper mainly use the panel data cointegration theory and impulse response analysis to make empirical Analysis. Through a detailed analysis of the four provinces in southwest based on actual dates, this paper has measured the size of pulling power of Regional GDP growth to passenger traffic and Cargo traffic. By assumption and argument, It come to a conclusion that the development of tertiary industry can contribute to road transport development.
