| With the development of economic integration and foreign trade, more and more scholars have adopted positive attitude to RMB internationalization. On April8,2009, State Council chooses Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Dongguan as experimental units of RMB settlement in cross-broader trade transaction, and popularize throughout the country soon. However, whether in theoretical analysis or investigation, RMB Settlement in cross-broader trade transaction is still in dispute. Against this background, there is necessity to make an in-depth analysis of aporia in RMB settlement, in order to find out measures of commercial bank, and to provide theoretical foundation and policy suggestions.The paper consists of six chapters. Chapter1, introduction, mainly introduces the background, definition, research logic and main contents, methodology, innovation and deficiencies. Chapter2is about literature reviews, which summarize and make comments on previous studies at home and abroad on RMB settlement of cross-broader trade transaction. There are a lot of foreign scholars who research on the choosing of international settlement currency, and the road of RMB to become international settlement currency. Meanwhile, most of domestic scholars focus on outlook, advantages and disadvantages, and thread of RMB settlement in cross-broader trade transaction. Little of them pay close attention to current situation, model and case, and which are this paper’s targets. Chapter3contains status analysis of RMB settlement, which based on three points of view, including development scale, market share and establishment units. The result shows RMB settlement in Shandong branch is prominent, but establishment units are irregularity. Chapter4deals with game analysis of aporia, which not only summarize the aporia of development and management in Shandong branch, but also point commercial bank, should keep on impelling the business. Chapter5contents case analysis, which including three cases:capital clearing with limiting company, exchange and notification in letters of credit, surrender of exchange. The cases make up overall outlook of the whole paper, and offer evidence proof for policy suggestion. Chapter6is to summarize the above conclusions and policy suggestions. Based on above analysis, we put forward the practical policy suggestions, including strengthen three emphases, strengthen linkage and strengthen management.Based on the above studies, we find that RMB settlement in cross-broader trade transaction has its opportunity and challenge, and bring aporia to commercial bank Therefore, in order to seize the opportunity, face the aporia, commercial bank should promote the competitiveness, and find combining site to keep on impelling the business. |
