Japanese have invested a lot in to China the third time since1990th. In this process, some Japanese company have reject the idea that just consider Chinese employee as cheap labor, but recruit as many talent as they can. But some companies still hold the lag idea and output their management mold without considering Chinese condition. Such companies will face many HR management problems. How to manage human resource is a big issue to both human resource managers in joint venture companies and scholars.Y Company is one such a Sino-Japanese joint venture company. Through analysis the human resource condition and the employee satisfaction survey, we found that the company’s performance appraisal methodology is unreasonable, the pay system is unreasonable, staff development space is limited, corporate culture is constructed poorly and so on. Then, we use human resources theory, and combine with Y Company’s practical problems; we put forward some corresponding countermeasures.The main countermeasures are:(1) optimizing the company’s human resource plan;(2) implement employee career management planning;(3) improving salary management system;(4) implement an effective performance appraisal methods;(5) created local corporate culture proper to China. Through the above measures and proposals, we hope to provide useful inspiration about how to improving Sino-Japanese joint venture companies’ employee human resource management.
