Research On The Development Of Rural Tourism In Changsha

Nowadays, in China, with the rapid development of automobile industry, the transportation is becoming more and more diversified, and as national holidays grow, it is possible for people to travel for relaxation. At the same time, group tourism is shrinking, and free travel style is more widely accepted. In addition, rural tourism around customer resource is getting more and more popular. As a result, rural tourism has become an important part of tourism industry. This industry started early in developed countries, and has had a large impact on their rural economies. While rural tourism in China, began in the late80’s of this century, is a new model of tourism industry. However, this rural tourism has quickly spread and found its own market role since the1990s.Based on Changsha City with a long history of tourism and culture, as an ex ample, the article presents a positive future of Changsha rural tourism through all t hose tourism resources it has. Secondly, the research states related theoretical supp orts and analyzes seven main problems in Changsha rural tourism on the basis of today’s domestic rural tourism, like similarity of tourism products, obsoleteness of i nfrastructure, lack of experienced managerial talents, uneconomical way of tourism development, low combination of rural tourism and agricultural structure transformat ion, as well as high tax obligation of rural tourism enterprises and their financing difficulties. Finally, some countermeasures for Changsha rural tourism further devel opment are pointedly presented.
