A Study On The Relationship Of Enterprises Network Ties Strength,Learning Capability,Technological Innovation Performance

Only do the enterprises access technology, information and other resources from the outside world constantly, can they carry out a steady innovation activities, and thus maintain stability development in an increasingly competitive market. The continuous development of the enterprise network provides a good interactive environment for the members of the enterprise network, and also promotes enterprise’s technology innovation greatly.However some of the scholars always assume that the relationship between the members of the network are the same,and ignore the ties strength of the enterprise network,when they analyze the relationship between network structure and technological innovation performance. In this paper, by analyzing and collating existing literature,we found that there still exists a large controversy on the relationship between network ties strength and enterprise technology innovation performance in the academic field.Based on the perspective of the enterprise learning ability, this article takes enterprise cluster degree, size and R&D investment as control variables, and proposes a theoretical model of the relationship among network ties strength, enterprises’ learning capability and technological innovation. We take458high-tech and private-tech enterprises in Guangdong Province as samples, and make an empirical study on the theoretical model. The results show that:(1) Enterprises network ties strength has significant positive impact on organizational learning ability and technological innovation perfomation.(2) Learning capability plays a role of incomplete intermediate variable between network ties strength and technological innovation.(3)Under the affection of the control variables:high cluster degree,middle-size and less R&D investment enterprise don’t change the results of above conclusions.And under the affection of low cluster degree,large-size and more R&D investment,we found that learning capability doesm’t play a role of incomplete intermediate variable between network ties strength and technological innovation.How ever, under the affection of small-size enterprise, all of the above4conclusions haven’t been proved.This paper improves the previous research, and it also has important value and significance of the enterprise network theory, organizational learning theory, technological innovation theory. On one hand, it makes up for the deficiencies in the current research, and further improves the network structure and technological innovation theory; On the other hand, it provides a practical advice for enterprises about how to make rational use of the organizational learning ability to improve the technological innovation capability, thus achieving the strategic objectives for enterprisefeasible recommendations.
