Project manager is the nubbin power of the architecture construction corporation, project manager’s ability and diathesis is the key of the corporation’s success.High diathesis project manager is a part of the corporation’s core competition which can’t absent.So choosing project manager is vital for construction-corporation.Construction corporation must consider the follow two factors when choose project manager.One side,construction corporation choose project manager should review the candidate’s ability and diathesis(competence),the manager selected must have the abilities suite for the project manager’s station and have the view point、 idio-goal and thumbprint which coincident with corporation.On the other hand, must think over the manpower resource cost when choose project manager,let the cost match the project manager’s ability.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter analyzes the background and significance of the topic, the project manager selection and value engineering theory in the study of Human Resource Management, presented this paper to study issues and research methods.The second chapter to the project manager for the study, combined with the content and features of the project management, project manager should have from the point of view of the theory of value engineering analysis, draw a functional system diagram of the project manager.Chapter from the point of view of the theory of Competency of the project manager should have the ability and quality. On this basis, discusses the distinction between the function and the Competency analysis in the form and content of the contact between the functional-competency, laid the foundation to the selection of the project manager for the next step of the correct application of value engineering theory. Selection and project managers not only concerned about the capacity and quality of the talent, but also concerned about the cost of corporate human resources take.In previous chapters study the basis of Chapter taken from the selection of the project manager of the construction enterprises should adhere to the philosophy, strategy, standards, procedures, and related supporting measures five aspects of the project manager selection and evaluation system.Chapter Five case studies, to the the Zhejiang construction industry G project A construction company, for example, the current situation and problems of the analysis of the A construction company project manager performance management, G Project Manager performance appraisal, G communication and application of project management performance.The paper concluded the argument of the thesis, the inadequacies of this study and future directions for further research are discussed.
