With the arising of project management，it has been applied in every part of businessadministration more and more. With the rapid development of information technology, especially indatabase and internet\extranet\intranet, many companies heighten their management level throughinformation system. When information system being built，project management is used in it.Because information system is different from other Project，such as it depends more on people thatthe system than the system itself，and peoples requirement for the system is being changed quickly，information system has its own specific properties.In this thesis, base on analyzing the situation of information project management，we describethe specific properties of information project，such as quantized aim being ignored，requirementbeing changed quickly，influenced much by human resource，software products being different，and information level of companies being different et. al. Then we describe the methods ofmanagement for information project including the structure of the organization，the model ofcommunication，the controlling model,the controlling model for requirement，and the methodsduring its enabling，planning，executing，controlling and finishing phase.
