Analysis Of Cross-border M&A Of Chinese TMT Industry

This paper mainly studies the cross border M&A of TMT industry in mainland china, focusing on analysis of enterprise performance. Multiple methods are included in this paper, for example comprehensive comparative analysis, empirical analysis and case analysis together. With excessive growth of national economy, it has become an irresistible trend to conduct transnational merger and acquisition for Chinese enterprises. Consequently, transnational merger and acquisition is becoming one of the hottest academic topics. However, researches on cross-border M&A performance for a specific industry is still not much to see. The rapid development of the TMT industry in recent years resulted in the fierce increase of TMT industry M&A cases. Hence, it is both theoretically and practically significant to analyze the performance of transnational M&A for the TMT indur.try.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, mainly to point out the background and significance of topic, introduce the research content and methods; the second part is literature review; the third part includes basic introduction to the TMT industry, summary of current situation for cross-border M&A of the TMT industry, the fourth part, the fourth and fifth chapter, is highlight of this paper, assessing the performance of cross-border M&A through the comprehensive comparison and empirical analysis respectively. Comprehensive comparative analysis includes longitudinal time sequence, comparative and international peer comparison and empirical analysis is employed principal component analysis; the fifth part summarized the conclusions of this study, and gave suggestions based on analysis of case analysis.
