As globalization penetrated into all aspects of social life in the world, the influence of tea increase gradually in the field of soft drinks, and the potential market of tea products is very large. In recent years, the tea market of America presents the momentum of vigorous development, more and more Americans like to drink tea. During2012, they imported24000tons of tea from our country, becoming the second largest import market of tea of our country. However, the prominent tea market did not catch the attention of the relevant scholars. There are still many blank spots in the field of Sino-American tea market research. Based on this, this article will take the Sino-US tea market as the research object to analyses how the factors influence the export of tea from China to the US.Firstly, this article analyses influencing factors of Sino-US tea trade theoretically. Secondly, based on the disaggregation data within6digital of HS code directory based on the United Nations statistics "name of commodity and coding coordinate system" from1992to2012,(including small package of black tea, big package of black tea, small package of green tea, big package of green tea, the added up green tea, black tea, total tea exports.), using the gravity model of international trade building measuring equation of the system from the perspective of empirical analysis of exchange rate, economic scale, technical trade barriers on China’s imports of tea trade. The research results show that the related factors on the impact of China’s imports different kinds of tea trade exists significant differences:first, China’s GDP has the significant positive influence on the total imports of tea, big package of black tea, small package of black tea, black tea, but no significant effect on every other categories of tea exports; Second, American GDP has obvious effect on the other six categories of tea exports but the added up total tea exports, among which the kind of green tea is plus, the kind of black tea is minus; Third, the RMB exchange rate has significant negative impact on all kinds of tea category except the big package of black tea; Fourthly, the technical regulations of the United States in1999,2002,2008almost had no significant influence on all kinds of tea imports from China. Based on these conclusions, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:expand the publicity of tea health benefits; Keep the economy stable and increase the support of tea planting; Keep the Renminbi (RMB) value stable; Make the best use of the coordinating role of the tea industry organizations such as Chambers of commerce; The tea export enterprises should enhance their market sensitivity, pay attention to the classification of tea in different specifications and package, and adjust the strategy promptly.
