A Study On Tourism Development In Hangzhou City Based On The Perspective Of Post-modernism

With the rapid development of the economy, demands for tourism is on the trend to increase, especially requirements for high quality tourism, are increasing day by day. But, to the contrary, gradual-commercialized tourism in modern time, can no longer serve the demand of people. Thus, it is urgent to seek a new prospect to show ways for the development of tourism. Basing on the prospect of post-modernism, the article explores the optimization of tourism development in Hangzhou City, both theoretically and empirically.The paper consists of four parts. The first part, firstly summarizes the researches of the development of post-modernism tourism and urban tourism both domestic and overseas, as well as the guidance of post-modernism to tourism development. Then, it studies the characteristic and main theories of post-modernism in details, and figures out the drawbacks of modern tourism, and summarizes the connotation, characteristics and relevant theories of post-modernism tourism. The second part defines the industrial stage of Hangzhou City with the indexes of industrial structure, per capital GDP and employment structure of three industries, and it points out that, Hangzhou City has reached the transition phase of Late-industrialization to Post-industrialization. This part also explores the relationship of economic development of Hangzhou City and its GDP, and finds out that tourism industry has become the pillar industry of Hangzhou. The third part analyzes the development status of Hangzhou City with indexes of RAI, EVP, VDI, OTC, etc. Basing on the prospect of post-modernism, it proposes some optimize measures from the aspects of the overall development ideas, key developing directions, basic guarantees, etc. The fourth part concludes the research of the whole article, and rethinks the deficiencies of the article, and also forecasts the prospect of tourism development studies.
