Thirty years of reform and development, China’s economic development hasmade a great progress. In the twenty-first century, according to China’s accession tothe WTO, international trade has moved into a new level. Since the financial crisis in2008, China has made herself a recovery and stepped out of the trouble prior to others.However, we should also see, our present industrial structure is not reasonable; policy,laws and regulations still need to continue to improve. Development and flourishingalso came with a price that made a huge pressure on the environment. The extensivedevelopment mode is not sustainable. So, in order to long-term economicdevelopment, but also for future generations, the reasonable way to develop is boundto the sustainable development of economy. To change the mode of economicdevelopment is inevitably involving the transformation of industrial. And our currentsituation is to turn to the green economy, with updating and equip enterprises withhigh efficiency and energy saving, pollution reduction production line, and we canfollow the path of green economy. Development is inseparable from the financialsupport, especially the credit system. The international banking industry began toadvocate “the Equator Principles” to develop sustainable economy as early as2003.The Chinese government also began to pay great attention to the construction of thecredit system of green economy in2007with successively promulgating a series ofdocuments to make the economy towards a sustainable, environmental way. Thisarticle would analyze the risk that the banks would face, and try to find a way tocontrol it; based on the situation of the green credit market in China.
