With the retail supermarket formats as the object of the research, the paper analyzed the current situation of the business development and management and summarized the main problems existing in the super market at present. Then in order to improve the enterprise economic benefit and social benefit for supermarket, the paper uses value engineering theory to research enterprise location, layout and product portfolio management and improve the environment.First of all, in the aspects of supermarket site selection, the paper used the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the function coefficient after its location and clear function being defined. Effectively avoid the subjectivity in decision making. In the process of value evaluation, this paper puts forward improvement scheme for site selection of the forms. Combined section at the end of the introduction of case analysis, the consequence confirmed that the use of value engineering in the supermarket site selection can be identified for the enterprise future earnings potential larger location decision.Secondly, in the aspects of super market environment layout, this paper used the questionnaire survey method of the statistics and SPSS statistical analysis software to determine the coefficient of function after the definition on its function and clear. In the process of value evaluation, this paper puts forward the improvement on environment layout of the forms of solution, combined section at the end of the introduction of case analysis, confirmed the use of value engineering in the super market environment layout can effectively improve the traffic for the enterprise raising economic benefits.Thirdly, in the aspects of supermarket commodity combination, this paper used the Zhang-Zhihong scholars compiled by genetic algorithm, combined with the research of the super market a large number of transaction data, calculate the correlation degree between the goods and associated benefits. Thus got the profit ability of the commodity and contribute to profitability for other commodities, and converted into function coefficient. In the process of value evaluation scheme was put forward. Combined section at the end of the introduction of case analysis, confirmed the goods at the supermarket in combination use of value engineering can effectively improve the enterprise customer satisfaction, improve the economic benefits.Finally, this paper made systemic research based on the three aspects above in this paper. Use value engineering theory to manage the implementation of collaborative in the system factors. Then this paper found that the using of the value engineering in the supermarket retailing formats can effectively improve the enterprise benefit and social benefit, and provides an effective way of the management for supermarket and the beneficial reference value application of value engineering in the commercial.
