With develop of the economic&social, the hotel industry is rising rapidly and thedemand of hotel management professionals is expanding, the education of the hotelmanagement profession, especially the quality of the higher vocational hotel managementprofessional is attended. Now, the higher vocational hotel management professionalprovided many professional talented persons for hotel industry. But with the developmentof the higher vocational hotel management professional in our country, also facing the jobmarket and the employment environment for test personnel training. With the internationaldevelopment of hotel industry, the hotel management professional trained students can’tmeet the demand of the hotel industry, and produced contradiction between the educationof hotel management professional and hotel industry’s supply and demand. So, the urgentpriority is improving the ability of higher vocational hotel management professional’sstudents, and matching the person demand of the hotel industry. The key of improvestudent’s ability is enhancing quality of curriculum, enhancing quality of curriculum’s lieson optimize curriculum design. This paper based on this background and the breakthroughpoint, and introducing the quality function development (QFD) and correlation theory intovocational hotel management professional curriculum design’s optimizing. Through theexperts and scholars on quality function deployment method in the application ofcurriculum research analysis, elaborated the quality function deployment theory in theoptimization of the curriculum feasibility. At the same time, building higher vocationalhotel management professional curriculum evaluation model based on the quality functiondeployment (QFD) method.First, choose a tourism college’s higher vocational hotel management professionalcourses of Shenyang for evaluation object. Second, through the literature research,summarizes and established including public quality professional basic ability professionaldevelopment ability three level capacity requirements indicators and15secondary capacityrequirements index evaluation system. In order to make the evaluation system is morerepresentative and scientific. This paper use questionnaire method survey the eighteencapacity requirements index, and using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) determine and sorting the eighteen capacity requirements index’s weight. To ensure the optimizationof the comprehensive curriculum, analysis of the courses of repetition rate and highervocational hotel management professional courses for the hotel industry talents abilitydemand satisfaction, and in the evaluation model also constructed hotel managementprofessional course correlation matrix, the hotel industry capacity requirements and selectcourse correlation matrix, the related data through the questionnaire method and qualityfunction deployment method for standardized treatment obtain. At last, it is concluded therelation of higher vocational hotel management professional set courses and hotel industryrequired capacity requirements and the course of importance, according to the result of thecurriculum design’s evaluation, Pointed out that the tourism colleges, hotel managementprofessional curriculum problem, so as to optimize higher vocational hotel managementprofessional curriculum, to improve higher vocational hotel management professionalcourse quality.
