Study On Ecotourism Development Of Lianshan Zhuang And Yao Autonomous County

Ecotourism emphasizes the integration of ecologicalbenefit,economic benefit and social benefit,maximizing thecomprehensive benefit to realize sustainable development of touristdestinations and tourist industry.To develop the ecotourism in ethnicminority areas that possess abundant tourism resources can meet thedemand of ecological civilization construction.This thesis takes LianshanZhuang and Yao Autonomous County for example.Lianshan County islocated in the border region of Guangdong Province,Hunan Province andGuangxi Province,linked by rivers and mountains with Yongzhou ofHunan and Hezhou of Guangxi.This junction region has complementaryadvantages in tourism resources.Lianshan County must catch theopportunity of taking part in regional tourism cooperation and bring itsecological superiority into full play to build natural ecological barrieralong the three provinces’ border.The disparities between LianshanCounty and its neighboring areas are obvious in the number of touristreception and tourist income.There are similar ethnic characteristics and good ecological environment in the border region of Guangdong,Hunanand Guangxi.However,the regional tourism cooperation betweenLianshan County and its neighboring areas has developed far fromthoroughly.Therefore,this thesis analyses Lianshan County’s ethnic andecological resources advantages and elaborates the feasibility andnecessity of Lianshan to take part in regional tourismcooperation.Besides,this thesis strongly emphasizes that it’s important forLianshan County to strengthen the regional tourism cooperation with itsneighboring areas.This thesis tries to describe a conception of buildingthe “Green Triangle Region” in the border region of Guangdong,Hunanand Guangxi to enhance Lianshan’s tourism visibility and its overallstrength.This thesis briefly includes the following parts:The first part elaborates the background of this selectedtopic,research significance,research contents,research methods,innovativepoints and difficult points.The second part summarizes the researchtrends in ecotourism and regional tourism cooperation at home andabroad.The third part elaborates the theoretical basis of thisthesis,including the ecological ethics,the core-periphery theory and the sustainable development theory.The fourth part analyses the developmentstatus of Lianshan County’s tourism industry by SWOT analysis.The fifthpart discusses the feasibility and necessity of Lianshan to take part in theregional tourism cooperation in the border region of Guangdong,Hunanand Guangxi.The sixth part gives countermeasures and suggestions forpromoting the regional tourism cooperation and puts forward theconception of building a “Green Triangle Region” to develop LianshanCounty’s ethnic and ecological tourism.
