Research On The Coordinated Development Of Regional Economy In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Currently,the imbalanced and insufficient development in our country has been so highlighted.Such development is not existed among regions and it is also within region.Promoting coordinated development of regional economy is an effective approach to fix the imbalanced and insufficient development and to promote the high-quality economic development in new era.Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is located in the intersection of the East,the middle and the west of China and it is a junction of the three economic circles of South China,Southwest China and ASEAN.There is location characteristics of coastal,river and border areas.Although it is in outstanding location,the internal situation in the area is so complicated and the regional economic development is extremely lopsided.As to the general level of economy,the per capita GDP of 6 cities in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in 2018 is 36639 yuan while that in resource rich area in Western Guangxi is only 23939 yuan.The per capita GDP in Liuzhou City and Fangchenggang City is 75945 yuan and 73601 yuan respectively;while that in Hechi City and Guigang City is just 22302 yuan and 26635 yuan.As a revolutionary old area,ethnic minority area and border area,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region implements coordinated development strategy of regional economy,which is an important measurement to accelerate the economic development and the high-quality development of the whole province.The implementation is also in crucial significance to push the leaping development of the western region's economy and to achieve the coordinated development in regional economy in our country.Such factors as history,geography,economic basis could lead to a general backward of economic development in Guangxi with a huge gap of regional economy.Therefore,it is so important and urgent to push the coordinated development of regional economy.However,from what angle to divide the economic region of Guangxi for a more comprehensive observation of the development of regional economy? How about the development situation and the imbalanced degree in these regions? How about the coordinated development of regional economy? What is the influencing factor? How to push coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region? Based on these questions,the paper has a division of the region of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to explore the influencing factors of the coordinated development of regional economy and to propose the suggestions and solutions to push the coordinated development.Arrangement of content: chapter 1 is introduction,raising problems,introducing study significance and determining study idea and study content;chapter 2 is literature review and theoretical basis.There is carding on the literature of the coordinated development of regional economy.There is conclusion on previous achievement and excavation of literature blank.There is reference to basic theory and construction of analysis framework.Chapter 3 is to introduce the power of Guangxi.There is dynamic analysis of the general economic evolution in these 70 years of the establishment of new China.Besides,there would be static analysis of the development situation of Guangxi.Chapter 4 is to explore the multi-dimensional gap of regional economic development of Guangxi with Dagum Gini coefficient and its sub group decomposition method,and four indexes of Gini coefficient,Theil index,coefficient of variation and Herfindahl index based on the divided economic region with the combination of the connotation of regional economic development.Chapter 5 is to build up evaluation index system of coordinated development of regional economy with the basis of comprehensive mastering of the connotation of the coordinated development of regional economy,so as to evaluate the coordinated development level of regional economy in Guangxi.Chapter 6 is to discuss the influencing factors of the coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi.Chapter 7 is to exploring coordinated development long-term mechanism for regional economy of Guangxi based on the situation,restricted factors and opportunity of the coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi with the combination of relevant papers of regional coordinated development in our country.Besides,the specific measures are also proposed to push the coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi.Chapter 8 is conclusion and expectation.There is summary of the basic conclusion and there is also expectation to the future direction combined with the shortage of the study.Here are the main opinions and conclusion:(1)Since the establishment of new China,there has been great achievement on the economic development of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region;however,the horizontal comparison is still backward.Seen from the internal regions in Guanxi,the economic development of South Guangxi Coastal Economic Zone is faster while that in Guidong economic zone and Guixi Economic Zone is relatively backward.(2)There is worse imbalance in the regional economic development in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Such imbalance is existed in economic plates,cities,counties and cities.It is performed in such aspects as overall economic level,industrial development,people's life and basic public services.It is a multidimensional imbalance.Therefore,narrowing the gap of regional economic development is essential to the coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi.(3)The economy overall level is in the status of expanding in the region of all levels,mainly shown in the per capita GDP gap among regions.The general gap of regional economy is from gap among regions,gap within the region and intensity of transvariation.The regional gap of life level is tended to be smaller and smaller,which is shown to be the narrow of income gap,but there is still significant gap.The regional gap of basic public service is also narrower and narrower,which is performed to be the narrow of gap of primary education and the medical health.However,there is still bigger gap in the middle school education.Therefore,the gap of life level should be narrowed and the equalization of basic public services should be promoted.(4)The economic development of ethnic autonomous(treatment)county of Guangxi,land border county and ethnic township is backward.The layer of the economic development among ethnic autonomous(treatment)county of Guangxi,land border county and ethnic township is so obvious and with highlighted imbalance,but the gap of basic public service is not that obvious.In the future,there should be great support for the acceleration development and high-quality development of ethnic autonomous(treatment)county of Guangxi,land border county and ethnic township.What's more,the gap of economic development among regions should be narrowed.(5)From 2010 to 2018,the coordinated development level of regional economy of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has been increasing gradually.There is a change from the reluctant or the brink of imbalance in 2010 to the medium or primary coordination in 2018;besides,it is estimated that the coordinated development level of regional economy would be further improved.However,the economic development in borders and marginal areas is lower and the development of minority ethnic group is backward;in addition,there are such restrictions as geographical endowment,scientific and educational level,large regional gap of opening degree.Meanwhile,it is also equipped with construction of China ASEAN Free Trade Area,the proceeding of “the Belt and Road” initiative and comprehensive financial reform along the border these advantages for the coordinated development of regional economy.(6)The coordinated development of regional economy of Guangxi should be adopted with “collective and balanced” development model.A highland of Beibu Gulf with the core of Nanning should be built positively to drive the developing areas and to promote the integrated and interactive development among regions.There should be great support for accelerating the development of underdeveloped areas,autonomous(treatment)areas and border areas of Guangxi.The Guangxi's economic opening to the outside world should be deepened to activate the economic development energy of all regions with big opening and to promote the coupling and coordinated development level between regions.Pay attention to the integrated development between economy and society,especially the life level,infrastructure and basic public services to keep increasing the coupling and coordinated development level between regional economy and society.There should be great support for the education development of ethnic areas,so as to keep enhancing the ability of ethnic minorities to adapt to economic and social development.With the premise of the insisting the protection of language culture of minorities,the promotion of mandarin should be enhanced and the language barriers to the coordinated development of regional economy should be broken through,aiming to narrow the economic development gap among all nationalities and promote the coupling and coordinated development between ethnic groups and economy and society.
