As a new type of social media, Micro-blogging has changed people’s wayof transmitting information and to expression, and it has an important impact inmany areas of social life. In the field of social economic, the commercial valueof micro-blogging is also increasingly apparent. This thesis focuses on thepresent situation of the commercial value of micro-blogging, the analysis of thedifficulties and problems existing in the process of value realization, and theanalysis of the commercial future of micro-blogging.First, this thesis analyzes the essential characteristic of micro-blogging. Itincludes the function and influence of micro-blogging, the property and featureof micro-blogging, and the micro-blogging information dissemination mode etc.It is the premise and foundation of the commercial value of micro-blogging.Second, the commercial value of micro-blogging will be specifically analyzedfrom the angles of users and products. The analysis of the current situation ofmicro-blogging commercialization leads to the next chapter. In the next part,this thesis discusses the limitations exist in the process of realizing thecommercial value of micro-blogging, and tries to put forward a way to resolvethe problems. Finally, analysis of the development trends of micro-bloggingand the outlook on its commercial prospects will be given.By the analyses of this thesis, the following conclusions can be drawn. Theessential characteristics such as the social media property, the we mediafeature, and the multi-grade fissile mode of Information dissemination ofmicro-blogging, decides that micro-blogging can play a larger role in thecommercial field, and have a strong influence. The commercial value ofmicro-blogging mainly reflects in the value of information dissemination, dataasset and user experience. Micro-blogging users’ both potential and realisticbusiness needs is the protection to realize the commercial value ofmicro-blogging. There are limitations exist in the process of realizing the commercial value of micro-blogging that limit the effect. From the view ofdevelopment trend, we can see that micro-blogging has a broad businessprospects. With the continuous efforts of expanding advantage andovercoming difficulties, the commercial value of micro-blogging will be moreprominent.
