Generally speaking, leadership is a concept of management, compared with it, the connotation of College Student Leadership which is explained in this paper has both similarities and differences. In detail, not only do leaders have the ability of owning College Student Leadership, but every college student could and must possess this quality in order to provide better social services and create more self-value.To study, analyze and sum up the relative literatures, we look College Student Leadership as a multidimensional structural concept which could be listed as follows: learning ability is the cornerstone of leadership and the starting point of all ability, political accomplishment is the soul of leadership and a clear political orientation is the inherent spirit of leadership development, lead awareness is the inside drive force of leadership and someone could demonstrate leadership from the inside and the field by this awareness, Emotional intelligence is a important index of leadership strength, Interpersonal relationships and communication skills are both the form of leadership, self management ability is the core of leadership, innovation is the driving force for the development of leadership and team cooperation ability is the basis of forming leadership. Combining with the research status at home and abroad, student leadership theory and practice experience and existing education content, the author used the questionnaire and interviews with experts in Zhejiang Province Survey and Research on current situation of College leadership.In order to understand different dimensions of College Students Leadership scientifically, based on the analysis of the literature, we finished two surveys according to do some interviews and expert consultations and acquired a "six dimension model" of leadership which consisted of practice ability, team cooperation ability, political quality, emotional intelligence, self management and leadership awareness at last by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. At the same time, we also did descriptive and discrepant statistical analysis of College Student Leadership of students’in ZheJiang. Result showed four features.First, Student leadership level is medium, today’s college students generally lack political accomplishment and self management, especially political accomplishment. Second, There is no served as the student cadre is the dividing line between the leadership strength. Third, Students of different background effect on the development of leadership. Last, The school education on College Students’leadership formation and development has great influence. In view of this situation, we tried to do a path analysis respectively from the renewal education idea, content and method from the angle of higher education. This article from the angle of higher education, respectively from the renewal education idea, content, method three aspects has carried on the analysis the path of. First of all, colleges and universities need to update the concept of higher education personnel training, to establish the cultivation of College Students’ leadership based mission view, enhance leadership development degree of attention and investment, respects the student leadership development in the diversity demand. Second, enrich the university university student leadership training content. In the light of Zhejiang province college student leadership of the political quality, practice ability, the ability of self management and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. Finally, put forward to innovation of college student leadership training method. Rooted in campus culture, communication leadership training idea.
